TOMORROW’S MOBILITY: WHAT SHOULD BE THE ROLE OF PUBLIC AUTHORITIES?

Event start date:
Thursday, April 14, 2016 - 09:30 to 17:00
Language:
English

Multi-modal travel behaviour is a growing trend, but why and how should we ensure that it becomes mainstream? Which measures should be taken by public authorities to encourage more combined mobility?

The morning session of this interactive one-day event will be dedicated to finding answers to these questions and international mobility experts from Germany, Austria, Spain, USA, UK, France, Switzerland and Belgium will talk over best practices.

Autonomous vehicles will be the focus of the afternoon session: what impact could they have on urban mobility?

Listen to the scenarios developed by the Land Transport Authority in Singapore and the International Transport Forum (OECD), and join the discussion on the measures needed to steer developments into the right direction, because now is the time to set up the right framework to avoid having car-congestion replaced by autonomous car-congestion.
